Come with us to discover the beauties of Mexico. In our adventure we will know not only the most typical that Mexico can show to the world, in the form of pyramids but also coffee, cocoa, colonial cities, waterfalls, canyons and indigenous communities hidden in the mountains of Chiapas. Meet with us the three Seas of Mexico: The Pacific, The Gulf of Mexico and The Caribbean. All this and more we will discover in our tour that will last 14 days. Our trip will begin in one of the largest cities in the world, Mexico city and we will finish our adventure in a more quiet, romantic and tourist city, Playa del Carmen, where you can rest 4 days in a row.
Day 1:
Arrive to Mexico city and stay in the city center.
Day 2:
Teotihuacan: The name of this place in the indigenous dialect nahuatl means: “Place where the gods were created”. This place was one of the most important cities in the whole Mesoamerica during the pre-hispanic era. Now, you will have the opportunity to visit this “City of the Gods”. This place has prehispanic monuments named “Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon” (places where different rituals were performed) which measure 63 and 45 meters (206 ft and 148ft) and nowadays there is the possibility to climb them and have a look to the landscape. During the tour we will walk the Avenue of the Dead and “The Ciudadela” (Spanish, citadel). After that, we will visit the local factory where people work with “obsidian” (One of the most important materials for all the Mesoamerican communities)
The Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe: we will talk a little about the present religion amongst Mexican people. “Our Lady of Guadalupe“ is the patroness saint of the major part of Mexicans, her presence is in each church, chapel and in this case in the basilica around the whole country. Actually, the Basilica complex is made of many churches and small chapels which are surrounding the big square. Amidst these building we can find stairs where miracles are supposed to happen. In the afternoon we will to return to the hotel.
Day 3:
Anthropology museum – the museum is preserves the most valuable artifacts found in different archaeological sites in Mexico, for example: The Aztec stone calendar. The museum operates as the main information source about “Mayan” and “Aztec” culture.
“Zócalo” – the second biggest square in the world after to Red Square in Moscow. The Zócalo is a social, cultural and political center in Mexico city. Something interesting in this place is when soldiers do a special ceremony by raising and lowering the national flag.
At afternoon we will go Mexico City airport and we will fly to Mexico southwest in the coffee zone in Chiapas state. We will arrive to Tapachula City and we will be transported to hotel.
Day 4:
In the Soconusco Chiapas region, several landscapes are hidden, which offer visitors the destinations full of magic and nature including the coffee route made by coffee estate, which gives us an opportunity to know the process of producing this drink and which draws attention to the large number of tourists to the south of the country. We will visit coffee farms and explaining the process from sowing the seed to the land until the consumption of this drink.
Day 5:
There is a chance of resting, swimming or having time to meditate on the Pacific shore, then on our first stop we’ll get to know the three seas.
Day 6:
In the morning, we will leave Finca Hamburgo to get to one of the most beautiful cities of all Chiapas; to San Cristobal de las Casas city. Along the way we will stop for 120 meters (393 ft) high waterfalls Chiflon which looks like a bride veil, for this reason, it is known as “Velo de novia” by local people and offers unforgettable views to this waterfalls. In the afternoon, arrival to San Cristobal de las Casas city, which surprise for its cold and the colonial atmosphere. The little houses stuck are next to each other for protect the colonial city against the attacks of the indigenous.

Day 7:
Cañon del Sumidero (Sumidero Canyon)- On Grijalva river finds this beautiful Canyon, in some places is almost 1000 meters (3720 ft) high. Maybe the most valuable of nature look like a “Christmas tree”. This interesting natural place is full 0f Traventino trees, the most typical symbol for Christmas. In our way inside this waterfall you can see many crocodiles, monkeys and a big variety of the aquatic birds.
San Juan Chamula- In the evening we are going to visit a Mayan community in which we can see how the natives live up to the present and visit a local cathedral. It is interesting to see how the catholic culture is mixed with the Mayan culture in this cathedral and hot it offers an unforgettable experience. In the evening we will return to “La Casa de los Arcangeles” hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas. At night, there will be a tour around the city
Day 8:
In the morning, depart from the hotel.
Toniná Pyramids – Though the zone is huge it is surprising that there are few tourists. In the most developed period. Toniná controlled an enormous area that Chiapas occupies today The influence of Palenque and Toniná city started disappearing in the eighth cetury. You will have the possibility to observe the date of Length cycle for the Mayas in this city. After this date the city ceased to exist. You will become one of the few to discover this city and the natural areas un chiapas.
During the way to the Mayan world heart we will stop by the waterfalls of Agua Azul and Misol-ha. waterfalls of Agua Azul are interesting because the water has a lot of calcium and this is the reason why water into several parts of the day changes the color from clear turquoise to dark green. The most beautiful from cascade Misol-Ha is that inside this cascade there is one smaller cave with an inner cascade too.
At night, arrive to the hotel in Palenque.
Day 9:
Departure from the hotel.
In the morning depart to the Palenque pyramids. Undoubtedly Palenque belongs to one of the most beautiful and biggest cities of the Mayan world. In its most famous age, during the classical period it was a political center. They used to have his own army and religion, its reign used to include areas around the Usumacinta river, which today is the natural border between Mexico and Guatemala. The city has an enigmatic atmosphere, due to its location between the mountains and the rain-forest.
Depart to Villahermosa city.
In this city, there’s a park named “Parque de la Venta”. The archaeological zone is located a few kilometers from Villahermosa, Capital of Tabasco. Unluckily this zone is struggling because of the petroleum industry. The park has the “Museo de la Venta” (Venta museum) which has the most famous big heads of the Olmec culture.
In the afternoon, we will arrive to the hotel.
Day 10:
Departure from hotel.
Chocolate farm Comalcalco – The Mayan civilization left us the drink of the gods, which has been preserved until the present and is loved by children. Come and know the process of production oh the drink or to the chocolate bar
Second stop-off to know the 3 Mexican seas is the Gulf of Mexico, which is located on the shores of Paraiso (in the Spanish translation of Paradise). Near the city you will find many fish markets where you can enjoy mussels or various types of sea fish.
In the afternoon we will go to Villahermosa airport. From there we will fly to Cancun airport and, there, we will visit Playa del Carmen city
Day 11-14:
We will stay in this city in the middle of the Caribbean, the last stop-off for getting to know the three seas of Mexico.
